PASSENGER TO FRANKFURT

by Agatha Christie

Pub Date: Nov. 16th, 1970
ISBN: 0312981708
Publisher: Dodd, Mead

A geopolitical fantasia which radiates (divagates?) in all directions and begins with the use of agreeable Sir Stafford Nye, a diplomat, by a young woman on a plane and later his hijacking onto an investigating committee of the upheaval to come. This will be due to Youth Power as well as other forces, in particular a Project Benvo which promises permanent peace. The action is spotty but then Agatha Christie is enough of a grande dame to get away with her grand design in the form of a morality rather than mystery play.
