THE REGATTA MYSTERY by Agatha Christie

THE REGATTA MYSTERY

by Agatha Christie

Pub Date: June 20th, 1939
Publisher: Dodd, Mead

Without doubt this is the worst collection of second rate mysteries in short story from ever perpetrated — and published — by a writer whose standard is usually as dependably high as Agatha Christie's. Few of the stories are strictly mysteries, although Hercule Poirot has his finger in a good many pies, sitting on the sidelines and pulling rabbits out of hats, solving by straight deduction and with little physical effort. You'll have some requests, on her name. But don't recommend it.
