Not as good as Teddy Bear (1954) but nevertheless quite a funny picture- book delineating that reluctance toward the first trip to the barber shop. Red headed Moppy's name suited him perfectly and he was quince contented keeping things that way, until one day he actually was mistaken for a mop. That turned the tables. "Mop" and "red" identifications throughout Don Freeman's black and pink-orange pictures add to the fun. Firm stitching.
