ED EMBERLEY'S BIG ORANGE DRAWING BOOK by Ed Emberley

ED EMBERLEY'S BIG ORANGE DRAWING BOOK

by Ed Emberley

Pub Date: Sept. 25th, 1980
Publisher: Little, Brown

Like Emberley's Big Green Drawing Book (p. 129, J-37), this starts with a basic shape—a potato in the previous book, here a carrot that can become a clown, mouse, bird, bee, or rocket—but then settles into a series of step-by-step drawings. Most of these are geared to Halloween, with spooks, skulls, dancing skeletons, black cats, a spooky house, and witches of every description; but Emberley also throws in a lobster and a lobster boat, a ship, and some mechanical space creatures. Like the green book, it's second-class Emberley, but good for some doodling diversion—and this one can help to satisfy some of that Halloween fever.
