The watchbirds have succeeded the goops with todays children. Manners and morals taught by nonsense pictures and exaggeration, but none the less taught. This second volume is more grown-up in the choice of sins than the first one which was for very little children. This disposes of the nailbiter, the bully, the tattletale, the scary, the wont wash, the butter-in, the squawker, the smasher and so on.
