Cosmetics pioneer Bobbi Brown will tell the story of her life and career in a new memoir.

Marysue Rucci Books will publish the makeup artist’s Still Bobbi in the fall, the press announced in a news release. It describes the book as a “heartfelt and inspiring memoir guaranteed to captivate readers of all ages.”

Brown became a professional makeup artist in 1980 and became known for using more muted and subtle cosmetics than were trendy at the time. In 1991, she launched her own cosmetics brand, Bobbi Brown Essentials; she kept creative control of the line when the company was purchased by Estée Lauder in 1995.

She left the company in 2016 and, four years later, founded another brand, Jones Road. She is the author of several makeup-themed books, including Bobbi Brown Beauty: The Ultimate Resource and Beauty From the Inside Out.

In her memoir, Marysue Rucci Books says, Brown “urges readers to embrace their own potential and pursue their dreams with confidence and clarity of purpose.”

Brown announced her book on the social platform X, writing, “This is my tenth book, but it’s unlike anything I’ve written before. In this book, I’m telling the story of where I started, who I am now, and how I figured things out along the way. I’m so excited for this one and can’t wait to share it with you.”

Still Bobbi is slated for publication on Sept. 23.
