Today show co-host and book lover Jenna Bush Hager is launching a podcast focusing on author interviews, Today.com reports.

The podcast is called Read With Jenna, which is also the name of her popular monthly Today show book club. “I love talking with authors—hearing about the inspirations for their books, their process, who they were as kids and who they are now," Hager said. "I can't wait to bring their stories to as many listeners as possible."

Hager launched her book club in March 2019, with Tara Conklin’s The Last Romantics as the inaugural selection. Her picks are mostly new works of fiction, although she occasionally features older novels (Toni Morrison’s The Bluest Eye, Donna Tartt’s The Secret History) and nonfiction books (Julie Yip-Williams’ The Unwinding of the Miracle, Javier Zamora’s Solito).

Zamora will be a guest on the podcast’s first episode, along with mega-popular novelist Colleen Hoover (It Ends With Us). Guests on future episodes will include Judy Blume, Margaret Atwood, R.L. Stine, Mo Willems, and Tara Westover.

“All of these conversations enrich the experience of reading,” Hager said. “You don’t have to have read these books to listen to these conversations and feel inspired.”

The Read With Jenna podcast will debut on Sept. 21.
