Journalist Michael Wolff will write about President Donald Trump’s return to power in a book due out next week.
Crown will publish Wolff’s All or Nothing: How Trump Recaptured America on Feb. 25, the press announced in a news release, describing the book as “a breathtaking insider account of the 2024 Trump campaign.”
Wolff first wrote about Trump in 2018 with Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, which became a No. 1 New York Times bestseller shortly after its release. The White House was not pleased with the book—Trump’s press secretary at the time, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, called the book “trashy tabloid fiction.”
Wolff published two follow-ups to the book: Siege: Trump Under Fire in 2019 and Landslide: The Final Days of the Trump Presidency in 2021.
“Wolff’s thesis in his 18 months of covering the campaign was that the establishment would destroy Trump, or Trump would destroy the establishment,” Crown says of Wolff’s new book. “All or Nothing is Wolff’s panoramic and intimate picture of that battle. The Trump characters who played pivotal roles in this historic showdown and who are now getting ready to fill the new administration are all revealingly here—many of them the secret sources for this book.”
Wolff said in a statement, “After almost ten years of writing about Trump, I seem to have gotten so ingrained in the Trump culture that Trump insiders comfortably talk to me until, often too late, they remember that I’m a writer. The truth is that everyone in Trumpworld understands that they are part of the most astounding story perhaps ever told in American political life and they want to tell it. I am lucky enough to hear it first.”
