Hannah Brown will release her second romance novel next year, People magazine reports.

Forever will publish the reality TV star’s The Four Engagement Rings of Sybil Rain in the summer of 2025. The press describes the novel as “Forgetting Sarah Marshall meets Anyone But You.”

Brown was a beauty pageant winner before being cast in the reality series The Bachelor in 2018. The following year, she was the lead in The Bachelorette and was a contestant on the series Dancing With the Stars, which she won along with partner Alan Bersten.

She made her literary debut in 2021 with the memoir God Bless This Mess: Learning To Live and Love Through Life’s Best (and Worst) Moments, which became a New York Times bestseller. She published her first romance novel, Mistakes We Never Made, in May; a critic for Kirkus wrote of the book, “There’s plenty of heart in this debut rom-com, despite some flaws.”

The Four Engagement Rings of Sybil Rain follows the title character, who encounters her ex-fiancé on a Hawaiian vacation and, in a bid to save face, lies and tells him that she’s there with her boyfriend, who does not exist.

“In The Four Engagement Rings of Sybil Rain, I drew from the romantic roller coasters I’ve been through in the past, and how I’ve learned to figure out what I truly want and need in the process,” Brown told People.

The Four Engagement Rings of Sybil Rain is slated for publication on June 24, 2025.
