Reese Witherspoon’s popular book club is getting its own podcast, Variety reports.
The actor will launch Bookmarked by Reese’s Book Club later this month, with journalist Danielle Robay as the host.
Witherspoon launched her book club in 2017 with the goal of “sharing stories centered around women to elevate their voices,” and it has since become a phenomenon in the publishing world, almost guaranteeing bestseller status for titles that have been selected. The club has featured over 100 books to date.
The podcast will feature “celebrities, tastemakers, influencers and authors.” It is being produced by Hello Sunshine, Witherspoon’s media company, and the audio company iHeartMedia.
The first episode, scheduled for release next Tuesday, will feature Emily Henry, whose Great Big Beautiful Life was the Reese’s Book Club pick for May, and Yulin Kuang, author of How To End a Love Story.
Robay shared news of the podcast on Instagram, writing, “I’ll be sitting down with an iconic lineup of authors, actors, musicians, and cultural forces to explore the stories that shape us—on the page and off….Books, stories, and words have shaped my entire life. If you’ve ever felt that too—this space is for you. This podcast brings your voices into the conversation like never before.”
