United States Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor will release her third picture book for children next year, the Associated Press reports.

The jurist’s latest book, Just Help!: How To Build a Better World will be published by Philomel Books, with illustrations by Angela Dominguez. The publisher describes the book as “a fun and meaningful story about making the world—and your community—better, one action at a time, that asks the question: Who will you help today?”

The book is a follow-up to Just Ask!: Be Different, Be Brave, Be You, which was published by Philomel in 2019. A reviewer for Kirkus praised that book as “an affirmative, delightfully diverse overview of disabilities.”

Sotomayor’s new book tells the story of “a journey through a neighborhood where kids and adults, activists and bus drivers, friends and strangers all help one another to build a better world for themselves and their community,” Philomel says.

In a statement to the AP, Sotomayor said, “I believe that children, with their energy, optimism, and creativity, have the power to fix the many problems with which we adults are leaving them. I hope my book, with Angela Dominguez’s beautiful illustrations, will encourage children to use their power to help one another and begin changing their communities.”

Just Help! is scheduled for publication on Jan. 25, 2022.
